A breakneck-speed run on the highway between Argos and Delphi, with ten thousand tons of guilt as ballast, and a howling hell behind one's shoulders. Funk seen through the lens of the industrial age. A mantra gibbered by a possessed man, while he dances on the edge of the Abyss. Sanity giving way to dementia. The Super-Ego crushing the Id under a press. Erinni, for us, is meant to represent all this. It is the song that best embodies the atmosphere, the meanings and the reasons of an album such as Le Furie. Numa Crew kidnapped it, raped it, and eventually managed to make their own creature out of it. They dissected and eviscerated, untill they isolated some specific elements (probably, the less obvious) and made them prevail. They created a ghost to haunt the dance floors, a spawn of the original composition that resonates on different waveforms. They gave black an unsuspected range of shades.

Una corsa a rotta di collo lungo la tratta autostradale Argo-Delfi, con l’inferno ululante alle spalle, e diecimila tonnellate di colpa come zavorra. Gli spasmi del funk riletti secondo le direttive dell’era industriale. Un mantra degno di un autistico - o di un invasato - da ripetere ossessivamente mentre si danza sull’orlo dell’Abisso. La sanità mentale che cede il passo alla demenza, mentre il Super-Ego schiaccia ogni residuo di dissenso dell’Es sotto una pressa idraulica. Erinni, per noi, è tutto questo. Il brano che meglio rappresenta atmosfere, significati e ragioni di un album come Le Furie. Numa Crew lo ha rapito e stuprato, fino a farne una propria creatura. Ha sezionato ed eviscerato con la perizia di un chirurgo, isolando alcuni elementi (con tutta probabilità, i meno ovvi) e rendendoli preponderanti. Ha creato uno spettro con cui infestare le piste da ballo, una progenie della composizione originaria che vibra su forme d’onda differenti. Ha dato al nero un insospettabile ventaglio di sfumature.
